"We went with a 1 year offer for 200 seats since Help Scout was not offering high enough discounts on a multi-year contract. We were not pleased with the offer for a multi-year upfront payment and it was not strong enough to move away from a single year contract. Discounts were attached last year with monthly billing. Help Scout marked the account as Plus plan in order to achieve the $40/user rate, even though we are on a Pro plan.
